Some information about SASUKE 25
Hi, I just thought that I’d give everyone some random information from the new tournament:
- All the numbers were drawn by a lottery, except #98 #99 and #100 which were given to AKIYAMA Kazuhiko, NAGANO Makoto and URUSHIHARA Yuuji respectively.
- Some old obstacles made returns in this tournament including the Rolling Log, the Jump Hang and the Circle Slider (which eleminated NAGANO Makoto).
- 11 competitors completed Stage 1: Jun Sato, Kenji Takahashi, Levi Meeuwenberg, Yoshiyuki Okuyama, Koji Hashimoto, Brian Orosco, Toshihiro Takeda, Lee Enchi, Hitoshi Kanno, Shingo Yamamoto,Yuuji Urushihara.
- Out of the 11 people to clear Stage 1 only 5 completed Stage 2. The obstacles that elimated most people were the Balanace Tank, and the new Double Salmon Ladder.
- None of the 5 who conquered Stage 2 could make it past the new Ultimate Cliffhanger, which lives up to it’s name having roughly 6 ledges, the first to are coming together at an acute point and the wall at that part is also angled back.
- After it was over TBS showed tester proving that Stage 3 can be beaten but they are keeping the Final Stage a secret

Thanks for the update. I enjoy watching the UK edited version of the American broadcast (which is all that we get here) but most of it is broadcast out of sequence with regular repeats of tournaments from a few years ago. After a while, you start to gag for some up to date information!

Thursday, April 22nd, 2010 at 6:26 AMHey, Josh. Do you know if TBS or their programs are available on Virgin Media cable? I’ve had a look but couldn’t see it. Is it listed under another name?
Perhaps you could add a “Where to watch it” page to the site?
Cheers
